Dr. Armin Abron, DDS, MS
was raised in Chapel Hill. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002. Dr. Abron completed a 3-year surgical residency in Periodontics at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York, where he also obtained his Masters in Periodontics. As a student, he was honored as the recipient of the very prestigious Mel Morris Award for Clinical and Academic Excellence in Periodontics. Dr. Abron is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology in the School of Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Abron practiced for the past 5 years as a specialist in private practice in Southern Pines and most recently in Washington DC. He enjoys traveling, playing racquetball and tennis.

| Dr. Craig Dorion, DDS, MPH
a native of Massachusetts, graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) in 2002 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He was a member of the Men’s Varsity Basketball team at Brandeis University prior to relocating to Chapel Hill, NC.
Upon completion of his undergraduate program, Dr. Dorion teamed up with a well-known research group studying the impact of cleft lip revision surgery on speech and lip function. Dr. Dorion was chosen by his peers at UNC School of Dentistry to serve as class president for all four years of his general dental training. He continued advanced training with specialized focus in periodontics, dental implant surgery, and sedation in the Department of Periodontology at UNC School of Dentistry.
Dr. Dorion served as Chief Resident his third year of periodontics residency. He also worked as a general dentist prior to graduation from the periodontics program. He simultaneously completed a Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy and Management at the prestigious UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Dr. Dorion is certified to provide IV, nitrous oxide and oral sedation. He serves on advisory boards at both UNC-Chapel Hill and Wake Technical Community College. Dr. Dorion enjoys literacy outreach and volunteering at community safety-net dental clinics. He is an active member in many local, state, and national dental organizations.

Dora Tapia, DA II
has more than 15 years experience in Dentistry and been a surgical assistant for over nine years.
Dora was born and raised in Texas and came to North Carolina in 1987. She is fluent in Spanish.
She is the proud mother of Franky, who owns a karate school in Seven Lakes, and Joseph, now in the Army Reserves.

Barbara Holahan
our Office Manager is originally from Ohio, has lived in Fayetteville and recently relocated to Creedmore. She has two children and five grandchildren and loves to play golf, cook, travel, and go bowling with her kids.
Barbara has over 5 years of dental experience.

Robbie Johnson, RDH
our dental hygienist, is a North Carolina native who grew up in Chatham
County. She currently resides in Bear Creek where she and her husband
own and operate a poultry farm. She is a graduate of the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she completed a Bachelors of Science
Degree in Dental Hygiene. Robbie has over 9 years of clinical dental
hygiene experience and has been a member of our staff since 2003.
Robbie is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, and also a member of the Durham-Orange Dental Hygiene Society.
Robbie and her husband are now the proud parents of a new baby boy. Welcome to the family Andrew!

Nora Sienra
our Dental Insurance and Professional Relations Coordinator, joined our team from California in 2003. Her extensive experience in dentistry dates back to 1984. From 2008 to 2010 Nora joined Janine as the co-president of Durham- Orange Dental Assistants Society.
Nora is originally from Argentina and is fluent in Spanish. She is the mother of three grown children, four grandchildren and three dogs. She loves classical music, photography, traveling and reading.

Janine Healey, DA
is from Chapel Hill, has over sixteen years experience as a chairside assistant and has been with us for more than twelve years. She is the proud mother of John, Megan and Jennifer.
Janine is a tremendous asset to our team. From 2008 to 2010, Janine served as Co-President of the Durham-Orange Dental Assistants Society.
